Interior design style
In most design projects, much planning takes place before the selection of furniture. Designers to consider the role of space, personalities and lifestyles of the occupants of the residence, the architectural features of the house, lighting, color preferences and color next to the space, both indoors and outdoors, the “assumptions” of space, including the materials used inside and outside the building and of course the budget parameters. In planning occurs, the furniture is considered only generally. Designers often use generic models for space planning. What determines the style of furniture to be used? You can develop a unique style, French Country, classic and modern in Asia, West Indies, the neo-classical or would like to work with a variety of styles?
The observation of the historical evolution of architecture, interior design and furniture, often help you a style you like. None of these three elements can be studied separately, so this is a big problem, especially for people who have little knowledge of history or design experience in a unique style. Unless you know the different architectural features from different eras and how the interiors were designed to operate in a way that complements the interior, which will never be able to see how designers use their knowledge of style and story of inspiration, beyond the direct imitation intelligent and respectful references to the past, to be innovative and original. Make it a point to visit historic buildings and interiors, museums and homes to find the historical evolution of design. The further back in history, unless you can know about residential interiors, the only stone buildings or items carefully hidden from the elements which survived to give us an idea of a way of life. When we look at historical artifacts, which tend to see that once belonged to the ruling elite or aristocracy, unless, of course, we look at public buildings that allow the use of all public buildings, temples, churches, even in bathroom.
The evolution of styles of furniture are stimulated by the following: political or economic change, the results (such as archaeological excavations of Pompeii and the tomb of King Tut), contact with distant places, to see something new, changes in technology and techniques production and creative power of acute talented designers working to meet the needs of his time, function and beauty.
